About Us

 

Osborne Equipment Service was started in January of 1979 by Terry Osborne as a truck and equipment repair garage. In 1981 the business relocated to buildings on Industry Drive closer to US RT 35. This facility offered more room for service and also established a much needed parts department. The business grew at this location until 1995 at which time Osborne Equipment Service became the first business to build and locate in the Sarah-James Industrial Park.

This facility located at 10 McCarty Lane in Jackson  is where the business remains today.

At the age of 78, Terry Osborne passed away July 25, 2018. Six family members of second and third generation continue to work and operate the business. Dean Osborne (Son) as General Manager, Pat Osborne, (Son) as Parts Manager, Eric Brown, (Son-in-law) as Office Manager, Shawn Osborne, (Son) Parts Dept., Josh Brown, (Grandson) Payables/Receivables clerk, & Dillon Osborne, (Grandson) part-time parts.

 

Other employees include Bill Hughes-Mechanic,  Jon Henry-Service writer, Chuck Rife-Mechanic. Carl Haddox-Service writer, Robert Lambert-Mechanic, and Eric Davis-Mechanic
